COLLEGE OF BUSINESS

The College of Business aims to transform you into professional career specialists and decision-makers in the
corporate world, equipped with the right skills, knowledge, and values. College of Business will prepare you for a
career in Business, Entrepreneurship, Hospitality, and Tourism with a local and international perspective. Our
business programs consist of a business laboratory, simulation activities, a pool of experts, and innovative
curricula responding to the present business horizon.

 

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Human Resource Management
The Human Resource Management Program prepares graduates for a career in the Human Resources Department of any
organization, handling the many diverse human capital requirements for the organization, including recruitment, staffing,
training, and career development.

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Marketing Management
The Marketing Management program prepares the graduate for careers in marketing, market research, advertising, and
public relations. The curriculum provides the graduate with both technical skills and competencies required in the field, but
also a flexible mindset that is necessary to stay competitive in a constantly changing business environment.

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Financial Management
The Financial Management program prepares the graduates for various careers in financial management as well as related
fields, including but not limited to: corporate finance, investment management, banking, credit, trust operations, insurance,
foreign currency markets, money markets, capital markets, and other financial securities markets. The curriculum provides
the graduate with knowledge of financial institutions and technical skills based on established financial theories,
methodologies, and various analytical tools. It also promotes an outlook that is based primarily on ethics, market integrity,
regulations, good governance, and a competitive global perspective, necessary for effective financial decision-making.

Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management
The Hospitality Management Program is a 4-year degree course that equips students with competencies that are needed to
executive operational tasks and management functions in food production (culinary), accommodation, food and beverage
service, and other emerging sectors of the hospitality industry.

 

Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management
The Tourism Management Program is a 4-year degree course that equips students with competencies that are needed to
executive operational tasks and management functions in tourism planning and product development, events planning,
transportation services, travel and tour operations, and other emerging sectors of the tourism industry.

WE, the College of Business of Lorma Colleges, believe that it is our responsibility to develop the young and creative hands for life through training of the mind, hands, body, and the heart. We believe the power of motivation and encouragement to learn the concepts of education, business, entrepreneurship, management, communication, to foster lifetime learning and independence. We believe the indulgence and guidance of the Almighty in whatever endeavor and activities we do.

OBJECTIVES
  1. To train students to become business professionals in the future.

  2. To train future business professionals to be morally upright and guided by the principles of good ethics.

  3. To provide professional education and training for students preparing themselves for career in business.

  4. To prepare students for professional success and social responsibility.

  5. To equip young men and women with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes that will enable them to enter the world of business.

  6. To provide professional education and training for students preparing themselves for managerial or staff positions, or for operation of a business.

  7. To develop in out students the sort of entrepreneurial eye and attitude for a highly competitive business world.

  8. To produce graduates who can have a major impact in the business world and in improving the lives of Filipinos.

  9. To produce business professionals who are receptive to changes in the economy and industry.

  10. To expose students in the industry through annual company visits/exposure un the National Capital Region.

  11. To expose students in related learning experiences such as organizing seminars, outreach activities, community organizing, project implementation and actual business simulations.
