VISION
We envision Lorma Colleges Skills Development Institute (LCSDI) to provide complete training of Diploma and Single Qualification program under Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and further training and retraining of faculty and staff of Lorma Colleges on New Trends in Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
MISSION
The Lorma Colleges Skills Development Institute (LCSDI) provides a variety of learning experiences that will enable the students to live, learn and develop as responsible citizens and be an instrument of peace, love, joy, and hope wherever they go, whatever they do.
OBJECTIVES
The school offers three (3) year degree programs of varying specializations which are duly registered by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). It also offers a wide range of Micro courses but intensive workshop courses and advanced application courses designed for busy working adults. The offering of the latest computer hardware and software, modern computer laboratories, a World Wide Web internet connection, and unlimited internet access for all students. Courses are handled by competent instructors and conducted in a well-supervised learning environment allowing extensive hands-on training for each student.

Specific 95% of the students will be equipped with technical knowledge and skills relative to the experiences necessary to work successfully in today's sophisticated computing environments.

95% of the students will be developed to become well-rounded and responsible computer and IT Professionals with strong moral values.

95% of the students will be prepared to apply their acquired technical knowledge, skills, and experiences in the industry, government, business, and academic institutions with devotion to duty, for national development.
The teaching-learning process is regarded as a dynamic entity in which the student is an active participant and the faculty as the facilitator. As such, the college aims to instill among its mentors and students a love for learning. The inclination, application of knowledge and the realization of a life-long pursuit as an attitude of individual and desire to be relevant at all times and places.

Single Qualifications
This is a Competency Based Training (CBT) that focuses on a single qualification with the required number of hours set in the Training Regulations by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). CBT is a self-paced, individualized type of training allowing trainees to enter and exit the program any time.

We envision SDI to provide complete training of micro-courses and short-term training programs recognized by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). A continuous skills upgrading training and retraining on the new trends in multi-media arts, digital imaging technologies, biomedical equipment servicing, and computer systems servicing. It includes the offerings of a wide range of intensive skills upgrading workshops/courses designed for busy working adults with training conducted in a well-supervised learning environment allowing extensive hands-on training for each trainee.
We aspire to provide a variety of learning experiences that will enable the trainees to live, learn and develop as responsible citizens and be an instrument of peace, love, joy and hope wherever they go, whatever they do.

We recognized that vocational-technical education and training has remained a subordinate discipline in terms of societal recognition, and parental/children choice. It is this view that the department considers it a challenge and mission to influence society in this profession on how vocational-technical education and training can move forward.
