Wellbeing Month is dedicated to fostering personal achievement and community care. It’s a reminder to prioritize our mental, physical, and emotional health.
As we stepped into the month of April, we were excited to share an array of inspiring and engaging activities that brought joy, growth, and innovation to our community. In alignment with Wellbeing Month, we crafted a series of events that nurtured both mind and body, fostering a sense of harmony and creativity in our lives.

Wellbeing Month Activity
To celebrate Wellbeing Month, the Guidance and Counseling Office has planned a series of enriching activities to nurture our soul and uplift our spirit:
Jar of Happiness: Collect moments of joy and gratitude throughout the week.
Music Workshop: Explore your musical talents and express yourself.
Art Workshop H-ART (Happiness + ART): Combine happiness and art to create beautiful works.
Culminating Activity: Enjoy a range of engaging activities, including Tukar Recital and Open Mic Colorful Corner, Dedication Station, and Happiness Wonderland

Community Extension Activity
Led by the College of Computer Studies & Engineering, our community extension activity will focus on Productivity Tools Training, offering valuable skills and knowledge to empower individuals in our community.

Arosip Agri-store in LORMA Colleges
Through its Community Extension Office (CESO), organized the direct sale of agricultural products from Arosip, Bacnotan, La Union, to employees and students at its main campus in Carlatan, City of San Fernando. The event featured locally grown products such as bananas, ginger, turmeric, dried mung beans (mongo), cucumbers, purple yams (ube), okra (ladyfinger), and turmeric powder at competitive prices. This initiative supports farmers while offering Lorma Colleges staff convenient access to fresh produce. Farmers appreciated the new market opportunity, and employees valued the convenience and affordable prices.

"Pagaamuwanan" and Turnover of Power Spray Equipment: We're delighted to share the heartwarming news of the "Pagaamuwanan" event and the official turnover of Power Spray Equipment, held at Barangay Arosip, Bacnotan, La Union. The event, attended by community leaders, our school president, and the leadership team from our school, symbolized a collaborative effort towards environmental stewardship and agricultural advancement.
During the "Pagaamuwanan" ceremony, participants engaged in traditional rituals signifying unity and gratitude for the earth's bounty. This cultural celebration reinforced the importance of preserving our natural resources and fostering harmonious relationships within our community.

ALISTO 2024: Pioneering a Transformative Path
April kicks off with Alisto 2024, an interschool competition that emphasizes educational excellence, innovation, and community connections. Hosted by LORMA Basic Education Schools this event includes a variety of activities such as:
English and Filipino Essay Writing Competition, Debate Competition, Quiz Bee, Research Paper and Poster Presentation, and Robotics Seminar/Workshop and Exhibition.
