Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology

The College of Radiologic Technology offers a four-year degree program that prepares and develops the student in any field of Radiologic Technology. Radiologic Technology is a healthcare profession that plays a continually growing role in medicine. It is an “art and science” of capturing images of the human body using advanced technology that produces sound waves, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation.

The College of Radiologic Technology program consists of general education subjects and professional subjects. Students in their fourth year are assigned to accredited training hospitals in La Union and Baguio City for their internship program.

 

The College of Radiologic Technology is offered in response to the need of the country for medical imaging technologists who are competent to deliver the full spectrum of Radiologic Technology services required in Modern Health Care.

MISSION
To prepare students for the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude for service by providing academic and clinical training in the field of Radiologic Technology and promoting growth and development in the student as an individual and a member of the community.
OBJECTIVES

1. To equip graduates with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes that will enable them to become globally competent Radiologic Technologists.

2. To produce graduates who commits to promoting the value of pursuing life-long learning through research, continuing education, and clinical practice.

 

3. To inculcate values and beliefs as Christians with great consideration to their social and ethical responsibilities in the practice of the Radiologic Technology profession.

 

4.To produce Radiologic Technologists who are receptive to changes in the demands of the profession for them to deliver the full spectrum of Radiologic Technology services required in Modern Health Care.
