Wearing Purpose: Honoring the Call of Medical Laboratory Science

Theme: Future-Ready and Purpose-Driven. Honoring the Call of Medical Laboratory Science
Held last August 4, 2025, the 5th Coating and Pinning Ceremony of the College of Medical Laboratory Science was a celebration of readiness, responsibility, and purpose.
The event began with a thanksgiving mass and the solemn processional of students and faculty, followed by messages of wisdom and inspiration from Dean Josephine C. Milan, Mr. Edwin C. Cancino, RMT, PhD, Vice President of LORMA Colleges, and Guest Speaker Mr. Yves Caesar S. Gacod, RMT.

To our future LORMANIAN RMTs—may your coats be more than a uniform; may they represent your calling to serve with integrity, precision, and heart.
The lab may be behind the scenes, but your impact will always be at the forefront.
Called to Serve: A Light in Times of Change

The 63rd Capping, Badging, Pinning & Candle Lighting Ceremony of the College of Nursing was held last August 6, 2025, at the Campus for Health Sciences Pavilion, LORMA Colleges.
Guided by the theme “Called to Serve: Leading with Heart, Purpose, and Care in a Time of Change,” the ceremony marked a meaningful transition for our future nurses—students who have chosen a life of purpose through compassion, commitment, and care.

The event opened with solemn rituals and powerful reflections, made even more memorable by our esteemed guest speaker, Mr. Benito N. Areola Jr., RN, RM, USRN, MAN, PhD, who shared wisdom that challenged and encouraged the students to lead with both courage and heart in the ever-evolving world of healthcare.
To our future nurses, may this moment remind you why you started—your hands will heal, your presence will comfort, and your purpose will lead others through uncertainty. To the proud parents and families, thank you for your steadfast support and love that helped shape these dedicated learners into future healthcare heroes. And to the faculty and mentors, your guidance and dedication have lit the path that brought these students to where they are today—ready, capable, and called to serve.
