Held last August 4, 2025, the 5th Coating and Pinning Ceremony of the College of Medical Laboratory Science was a celebration of readiness, responsibility, and purpose.

 

The event began with a thanksgiving mass and the solemn processional of students and faculty, followed by messages of wisdom and inspiration from Dean Josephine C. Milan, Mr. Edwin C. Cancino, RMT, PhD, Vice President of LORMA Colleges, and Guest Speaker Mr. Yves Caesar S. Gacod, RMT.

The 63rd Capping, Badging, Pinning & Candle Lighting Ceremony of the College of Nursing was held last August 6, 2025, at the Campus for Health Sciences Pavilion, LORMA Colleges.


Guided by the theme “Called to Serve: Leading with Heart, Purpose, and Care in a Time of Change,” the ceremony marked a meaningful transition for our future nurses—students who have chosen a life of purpose through compassion, commitment, and care.

The event opened with solemn rituals and powerful reflections, made even more memorable by our esteemed guest speaker, Mr. Benito N. Areola Jr., RN, RM, USRN, MAN, PhD, who shared wisdom that challenged and encouraged the students to lead with both courage and heart in the ever-evolving world of healthcare.


To our future nurses, may this moment remind you why you started—your hands will heal, your presence will comfort, and your purpose will lead others through uncertainty. To the proud parents and families, thank you for your steadfast support and love that helped shape these dedicated learners into future healthcare heroes. And to the faculty and mentors, your guidance and dedication have lit the path that brought these students to where they are today—ready, capable, and called to serve.

Strength in Motion: Where Therapy Meets Powerlifting

LORMA Colleges celebrates Mr. Franz Laurence O. Borillo, PTRP—Physical Therapy faculty and BSESS instructor, for winning bronze in the 2025 Elyu Powerlifting Classic (U74kg category). 

With a 560kg total lift, he exemplifies how science and strength come together through disciplined practice and evidence-based training.

Training the Healers of Tomorrow: BSPT Interns Begin Rotations

LORMANIAN Physical Therapy interns officially begin their journey across top CHED-accredited hospitals and rehabilitation centers—immersing themselves in the realities of patient care, rehabilitation, and clinical excellence. With each session and rotation, they are not only learning technical skills but also developing the heart and resilience required in healthcare.

From the Lorma Medical Center to the Veterans Memorial Medical Center, these partner institutions offer diverse learning environments that prepare our interns to become competent, compassionate, and future-ready physical therapists.

Bangon La Union: Compassion in Action

In the wake of Typhoon Emong, the Lormanian community rose with empathy and action—reaching out to our kababayans in Cabatuan through the Bangon La Union donation drive.

With every packed good, every peso shared, and every prayer offered, we proved that even in the toughest times, unity and compassion are stronger than any storm.

BS Pharmacy 4th-Year Students Complete Basic Life Support (BLS) Training with PDRRMO Trainers

In readiness for their internship, 34 BS Pharmacy 4th-year students completed Basic Life Support training with PDRRMO trainers — mastering CPR, airway management, AED use, and first aid. 

With these vital skills, they step forward as competent and confident future healthcare providers, ready to respond in any emergency.
