ValenTeens: A Celebration of Love and Talent at LORMA Colleges
On February 14, LORMA Colleges Senior High held ValenTeens, a vibrant event that brought students and faculty together in a celebration of love, friendship, and talent. The campus buzzed with excitement as students set up creative booths and showcased their skills through captivating performances. From music and dance to interactive activities, ValenTeens highlighted the energy and creativity of the LORMA community, making it a memorable day for everyone.
LORMA Colleges Career Development Support Program: Inspiring Future Leaders
From February 18 to February 21, 2025, LORMA Colleges conducted a Career Development Support Program for Grade 10, 11, and 12 students, reaching out to various schools across Balaoan La Union. This initiative aimed to guide students in making informed career choices while showcasing the diverse academic opportunities at LORMA Colleges. Representatives introduced programs offered at the Senior High School, the Center for Learning and Innovation, and the Campus for Health Sciences, encouraging students to take the next step toward a bright future with LORMA.
LORMA College of Psychology Strengthens Partnership with DOH Psychological Service Station
LORMA College of Psychology has officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the DOH Psychological Service Station in San Fernando City, La Union, marking a significant step in advancing mental health education and services.
The agreement was formalized in the presence of Dr. Carol Lynn R. Macagba, ABIHM, President of LORMA Colleges, along with the Dean and Faculty of the College of Psychology. This collaboration aims to provide students with enhanced training opportunities, hands-on experience, and professional exposure in the field of psychology, while also contributing to the mental well-being of the community.
Through this partnership, LORMA Colleges continues its commitment to excellence in psychology education and mental health advocacy.
Lorma Colleges and PACOP Unite for a Meaningful Outreach Program
Lorma Colleges, in collaboration with the Philippine Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (PACOP), successfully conducted a joint Outreach Program on February 21-22, 2025, as part of Lorma’s Emerald Anniversary and PACOP’s Golden Anniversary celebrations. This two-day event brought together academic institutions, local government representatives, and pharmacy professionals to provide essential healthcare services to the community.
A key highlight was the formalization of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Lorma Colleges Inc. and PACOP, signed by Dr. Carol Lynn R. Macagba, MD, ABIHM, President & Chairman of Lorma Colleges, and Dean Maria Fay Nenette M. Cariaga, RPh, PhD, President of PACOP. This partnership marks a significant step in advancing pharmacy education and community service initiatives.



Congratulations to Mr. Jinn Carl Cariaso, an alumnus of the Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Science program, for his outstanding achievement in the field of healthcare. He is now serving as a Travel Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Fusion Medical Staffing in California, USA. His success is a testament to the excellence of LORMA’s education and its commitment to shaping future professionals. We celebrate his journey and wish him continued success in his career!

Congratulations to Jennifer Mamaril Mariñas, a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management Class of 2018 alumna, for her remarkable achievement as a Galley Cook in New York, USA! Her dedication and passion for the hospitality industry serve as an inspiration to future Lormanians. We are proud of her success and wish her even greater accomplishments ahead!

Huge congratulations to our brilliant LORMA Colleges Basic Education students for their outstanding victory at the UP Namnama Sirib ken Saririt 2025 Provincial Eliminations held at Balaoan Central School on January 12, 2025!
Embracing this year’s theme, “Bin-i Ti Kabbaro Nga Lubong: Planting Seeds for a Better Tomorrow,” our Junior High School Sirib Quiz Show Team—Rojen Marks S. Dawaton, Mathieu Xebastien C. Malinao, and Rhija Krische B. Onia, coached by Ms. Mherly M. Aucena—secured 1st Place, showcasing their exceptional knowledge and teamwork.
In the Ilocano Essay Writing (Junior High School Category), Gabe Simone N. Tadios, coached by Mrs. Danica A. Dacanay, earned 3rd Place, demonstrating remarkable creativity and writing skills.

Congratulations to our LORMA Colleges Basic Education student journalists for their remarkable achievements at the Regional Schools Press Conference held in Dagupan City, Pangasinan, from February 11-14, 2025!
With this year’s theme, “Media for Inclusion: Promoting Diversity, Equity, and Integrity through Campus Journalism,” our young writers demonstrated their passion and talent in journalism. Peter Ivan Andrei F. Obille, coached by Mr. Rey Mark A. Almarez, secured 2nd Place in the Copy Reading (English Category), showcasing his keen eye for detail and editorial excellence.

With an impressive 96.77% first-time taker passing rate and a 100% passing rate for the Class of 2024, LORMA Colleges continues to uphold its legacy of excellence in healthcare education. We are especially proud of our two top-notchers—Jamil Ruhul Amin R. Shikdar (Top 6) and Aghia Marina R. Sayo (Top 10)—for their remarkable achievements.
