LORMA Colleges, in partnership with the City Health Board and the leadership of Mayor Hermenegildo “Dong” A. Gualberto, formalized a shared commitment to community health and development through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement on January 27, 2026, reinforcing collaboration grounded in service and research.

The partnership outlines a three-year development program covering quality assessment, primary health care activities, health education awareness, and Paaralang Bughaw, presented by Research Institute Chairman Mrs. Marites C. Pagdilao, highlighting a data-driven and evidence-based approach aligned with national and global development goals.


Emphasizing shared values of excellence, empathy, and purpose, LORMA Colleges and the City Government of San Fernando City, La Union affirm health as a top priority—leveraging research, extension, and inter-institutional collaboration to deliver sustainable, impactful programs for the community.

On January 17, 2026, LORMA Colleges – College of Pharmacy partnered with the Philippine Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (PACOP) to conduct a meaningful Community Extension Activity in Brgy. Cabalitocan, Luna, La Union. The event featured a medical mission, distribution of footwear and hygiene kits to schoolchildren, and an educational seminar on medicinal plants, reflecting LORMA’s dedication to community engagement and health promotion.

Training Tomorrow’s Pharmacists Through Real-World Practice


In compliance with CHED Memorandum Order No. 25, s. 2021, the College of Pharmacy successfully deployed 4th Year BS Pharmacy interns for their Experiential Pharmacy Practice in both Industrial and Hospital Pharmacy settings, providing hands-on exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality assurance, regulatory processes, and patient-centered care through Allied Pharmaceutical Laboratories Inc. and partner hospitals including Lorma Medical Center, Bethany Hospital, Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center, Bacnotan District Hospital, and La Union Medical Center, strengthening outcomes-based learning while shaping competent, ethical, and service-driven future pharmacists through strong industry and healthcare collaboration.
