A New Home for Learning at Arosip
A significant milestone was celebrated with the Blessing and Turnover Ceremony of the Arosip-LORMA Heritage Reading Hub at Arosip Elementary School, marking the beginning of a new chapter for young learners in the community. More than a physical space, the Reading Hub stands as a sanctuary of knowledge, imagination, and opportunity, designed to inspire a lifelong love for reading and learning among students.
This meaningful initiative became a reality through the collective efforts of LORMA Colleges, Arosip Elementary School, and the Arosip Elementary School Parents-Teachers Association. Supported by the LORMA Colleges National Service Training Program, the Local Government Unit of Bacnotan, the Barangay Council of Arosip, educators, parents, and community volunteers, the project exemplifies the power of collaboration in creating lasting educational opportunities for future generations.
As the doors of the Reading Hub officially open, it serves as a symbol of hope and possibility for every learner who walks through it. Among these milestones is the recognition of Ma'am Jennifer M. Sabalboro-Ruelos, RN, BS Nursing Batch 2010, as the 1st Place Winner of the 2026 Nursing Hero Award in Canada. As an Operating Room Nurse at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and a respected mentor and advocate for internationally educated nurses, she embodies compassionate leadership and professional excellence. The LORMA community also congratulates Hussein P. El Sayed Ahmed and Kent Cyryl A.
