The Campus for Health Sciences of LORMA Colleges in Carlatan, City of San Fernando, La Union, celebrated Wellbeing Week 2026 through meaningful activities centered on reflection, healing, and spiritual renewal. The celebration officially opened on April 20, 2026, bringing together students, faculty, and staff in a shared commitment to mindfulness, emotional wellbeing, and holistic growth within the LORMANIAN community.

Sea of Surrender
Sea of Surrender

On April 21, 2026, the first featured activity, “Sea of Surrender,” was facilitated by the ISO and SML Officers at the Main Building Entrance Lobby. Participants were encouraged to reflect on worries, fears, and burdens they carried as they wrote them on Sea of Surrender cards before placing them into a wooden bowl filled with water, symbolizing the act of letting go and surrendering their struggles to God. As the ink slowly faded, hidden messages of comfort and encouragement appeared, followed by a quiet moment of prayer and trust that reminded participants they are never alone in their journey.

The celebration concluded on April 23, 2026, with a wellbeing activity facilitated by the Guidance and Counseling Office at the Main Building Entrance Lobby, continuing the spirit of reflection, care, and emotional support. More than a week of activities, Wellbeing Week 2026 became a meaningful reminder that healing begins through faith, connection, and the courage to release what weighs heavily on the heart while embracing hope, peace, and renewal.
