LORMA Psychology Students Join Inspiring Interactions for Peace Event

On March 25, Psychology students from LORMA Colleges participated in the Interactions for Peace event at the CLI Library—an inspiring session focused on peace-building, mental well-being, and teamwork. Guest speakers included Sean Chumbley (I4P President), Kimberly Stricker (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), and Eden Steele (I4P Founder, via Zoom).

Former Peace Patrol advocates also shared experiences and insights on promoting peace and empathy in communities. The event concluded with a heartfelt community performance of “Heal the World,” leaving students empowered and united in the spirit of positive change.
LORMA Community Comes Together for a Heartfelt Outreach in Bacnotan

Held at Bacnotan Central School on April 8, 2025, LORMA Colleges carried out a meaningful outreach program dedicated to Special Education students. The initiative was organized by NSTP students and instructors, SAFO coordinators, PSG and SSG officers, and the PTO Executive Officers.

In collaboration with the La Union Dental Chapter, led by Dr. Christian Nebres, the event included dental education, a mouth cancer awareness campaign, and fluoride treatments. It was a day marked by compassion, teamwork, and service to the community.
Basic Ed Students Cook Up Fun at Amare La Cucina’s Pizza-Making Experience

Basic Education students of LORMA Colleges took part in a fun and flavorful pizza-making activity on April 10 and 11, 2025, at Amare La Cucina in Carlatan, City of San Fernando, La Union. From kneading the dough to adding their favorite toppings, students got a hands-on experience that combined learning with creativity and tasty memories.
A Life-Saving Mission: LORMANIAN Spirit Shines Through Mobile Blood Drive
In celebration of LORMA Colleges’ 55th Emerald Founding Anniversary and Health Summit, the LORMA Colleges – Red Cross Youth Council (LC-RCYC), in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross – San Fernando City, La Union Chapter and BSMLS 3rd Year students, hosted a Mobile Blood Drive and Free Blood Typing on April 11, 2025, at the Carlatan Campus. The event highlighted the LORMANIAN commitment to health, compassion, and community service.
LORMA Colleges Retreat: Bridging Community and the World
On April 14, 2025, LORMA Colleges hosted a transformative and enriching retreat at the Carlatan Campus Pavilion, embracing the theme "Bridging Community and the World" in line with the school's Emerald Year celebration and "Our Journey to Our F.AT.E." The retreat began with a solemn flag-raising ceremony at the Quadrangle, followed by the dedication of the new Main Building, led by Pastor John Gois, the school chaplain.

This moment was followed by a prayer by Pastor Johnny Verzola and a heartfelt praise and worship session led by Ma'am Joylyn Baniaga, setting the tone for a day of reflection and connection. Pastor John Gois shared wisdom that resonated deeply with everyone, as participants engaged in activities designed to foster unity, reflection, and growth.

A lunch fellowship further strengthened bonds, with all members of the LORMA community coming together in spirit. The retreat concluded with a prayer by Pastor Jetro Novero, sending everyone off with renewed purpose and strength.
“This retreat reminds us that we each play a role in connecting communities—within LORMA and beyond. As we grow in faith and purpose, may we continue to inspire unity and create a brighter future together.”


LORMA Colleges Celebrates March 2025 MedTech Board Success
LORMA Colleges, College of Medical Laboratory Science proudly celebrates the success of its 23 graduates who passed the March 2025 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination, achieving an impressive 95.45% passing rate for first-time takers. This milestone reflects the dedication and excellence of both the students and faculty.

Among the achievers, Ms. Camille Gean M. Ricanor brought additional honor by securing the Top 8 spot nationwide.
