Bullseye Brilliance: LORMA Archers Shine at the 1st Baguio City Archery Cup

The LORMA Archery Team, under the expert guidance of Mr. Marianito R. Dacanay, Head Coach of the LORMA Archery Academy, proudly showcased their skill and determination at the 1st Baguio City Archery Cup, held on May 1–4, 2025, at the Baguio City Athletic Oval.
Competing among top young archers from across the region, our student-athletes exemplified precision, perseverance, and sportsmanship.

A stellar performance came from Zabdiel Abdrei Tadifa (Grade 8 – Newton), who claimed two Gold Medals in the Recurve Under-15 Men Category, ranking 1st in both the Qualification and Olympic Rounds.

Excellence Renewed: LPTFC Re-accredited as Training Center for PT Interns

We are thrilled to announce that the Lorma Physical Therapy and Fitness Center (LPTFC) has been officially re-accredited as a training center for Physical Therapy interns, effective April 10, 2025. This achievement reinforces LPTFC’s commitment to delivering high-quality clinical education and supporting the next generation of physical therapy professionals.
With this renewed recognition, LPTFC continues to be a place where learning is empowered, skills are refined, and futures are built through hands-on experience and mentorship.
Dap-Ayan 2025: Celebrating Skills, Diversity, and Unity

LORMA Colleges, College of Business proudly hosted the Dap-Ayan: 2025 Skills Expo & Workshops on April 30, 2025, at the San Juan Campus, under the empowering theme: "Strength in Diversity, Unity in Inclusivity."
This engaging event united students, educators, and professionals in a lively showcase of knowledge, creativity, and expertise. It highlighted the unique talents and abilities of persons with disabilities (PWDs) and children with special needs, championing inclusivity, particularly in the hospitality and tourism industry.

The event featured meaningful participation from the Hiraya Collective for the Blind, the La Union Association of the Deaf (LUAD), and students who are deaf from the College of Computer Studies and Engineering, demonstrating the strength of collaboration across diverse and empowered communities.

Through hands-on workshops, skills demonstrations, and inclusive exhibits, Dap-Ayan 2025 provided a dynamic platform to uplift underrepresented voices, foster mutual learning, and inspire collective growth.

It served as a powerful reminder that embracing diversity and practicing inclusivity are essential steps toward a more equitable and united future.

As part of Well-Being Month 2025, Lormanians gathered to explore the profound connection between emotions, music, and art during the event titled "Echoes of the Heart: Emotions in Music and Art", hosted by the Guidance and Counseling Office.

This vibrant celebration provided a unique opportunity for individuals to express themselves and gain emotional awareness through hands-on activities. Participants engaged in soothing stations such as mandala coloring and bracelet making, each designed to offer a different outlet for connection, creativity, and reflection. The event was enhanced by a gentle ambient soundtrack, setting the perfect tone for emotional healing and introspection.

Venting Machine: Sharing Emotions, Building Connection

On May 6, 2025, LORMA Colleges and Hiraya Collective officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the LORMA Colleges Carlatan Campus, marking a significant milestone in their shared mission to create alternative, accessible learning spaces for the blind and visually impaired (VI) community in the Philippines and beyond.
