LORMA Colleges NSTP Beach Clean-Up: Serving the Environment
On September 21, 2024, over 60 Lorma NSTP student volunteers showed their commitment to the environment during the International Coastal Clean-Up Day at Carlatan Beach, City of San Fernando, La Union. Despite rainy weather and a venue change from Urbiztondo Beach, their enthusiasm remained strong as they worked to preserve our coastal areas.
This event not only aligns with the National Service Training Program (NSTP) goals of promoting civic responsibility but also supports Sustainable Development Goal 14: Life Below Water, emphasizing the importance of protecting marine ecosystems. Although the clean-up was cut short, it served as a powerful reminder of our collective responsibility for environmental stewardship.

On September 23, our international students led the flag-raising ceremony at the Campus for Health Sciences in honor of International Day of Peace. As each national flag was raised, it symbolized unity and a shared commitment to fostering peace within our diverse community. This event served as a reminder of the importance of collaboration and understanding among all nations, celebrating our collective efforts toward a harmonious world.

The event showcased the students’ skills and knowledge, with engaging presentations that highlighted the crucial role of pharmacists in healthcare. It was an inspiring celebration of the profession's dedication to improving health and well-being in the community.

LORMA SMILE: Stress Management & Inner Life Enhancement Seminar
The "LORMA SMILE" seminar and workshop provided faculty and staff with valuable strategies for stress management and inner life enhancement. Designed to promote mental well-being, the session offered practical tools for balancing professional responsibilities with personal self-care, encouraging a healthier and more fulfilling work-life dynamic. This initiative reflects the institution's commitment to its Core Values of compassion, integrity, and holistic development.
